CarMax Anniversary Celebration

Just a quick little job of centerpieces for CarMax's Quarterly Celebration.  They wanted number centerpieces to show their 20th anniversary and some to indicate the number of cars they sold last quarter (797!!).

Here are an example of each type of centerpiece we created.  These numbers are great for birthdays (Sweet 16, anyone?) and anniversaries - or anything where you have a big number to celebrate.

Thanks to CarMax for letting us be a part of your anniversary!

NCSU wins the Paul Simon Internationalization Award

We were so honored to create balloons for NC State's celebration of winning the Simon Internationalization award.  The Senator Paul Simon Award for Campus Internationalization is a recognition given to the colleges and universities that use innovative, creative approaches for significant and great progress toward comprehensive internationalization.  You can check out more about this award here.

For this event, we created centerpieces with globes and NCSU's signature colors of Red & White.  We also made Party Poles for around the room, some helium bouquets, and a Mr. Wuf mascot holding a globe balloon.  It was held in a great venue at the Talley Student Center.  SO proud of NC State for receiving this honor!  Go Pack!

Toyotathon at Fred Anderson Toyota & Pre-Owned

Do you need a new car?  Fred Anderson Toyota and Pre-Owned have decorated to make your car shopping more fun!  We did hanging columns for both the new and pre-owned showrooms in Toyota's signature colors of red, white, and black.  The main showroom was quite a fun challenge since the ceilings were 3 stories up.  We got to use a cherry picker and spent an exciting morning up in the air!  We think these hanging columns and arch add a lot to the showrooms and we enjoyed working with the great team at Fred Anderson.

Thanksgiving at the Crabtree Marriott

The Crabtree Marriott is one of our favorite venues because of the beautiful ballrooms, but mostly because of the amazing people you get to work with there.  From the event planners, to the banquet managers, to the staff - all of them are there to make your even amazing!  I know this firsthand because we've hosted an even there and I couldn't have asked for more professional and dedicated people to help make it happen.

So today we were able to help add a little something special to their Thanksgiving Buffet Brunch by adding a photo op area in the entrance foyer.  We made a huge tree with fall color leaves, some pumpkins, a cute and fat little turkey, and an owl perched up in the tree.  So fun and festive for this holiday!

Today and every day, we are so thankful for our customers who let us be a part of their celebrations and trust us to make their events beautiful.  Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

Another Alexander Family YMCA event!

We were pleased to be called by the Alexander YMCA again for the celebration event of a very successful fundraising campaign.  The theme once again was "Growth" and they requested hanging flowers (we did 22 to cover the whole gym!), flower columns and some mini-columns for the screens.

If you didn't see the first event, it was similar, but also featured a matching flower arch at the entry.  We loved the different shades of blue and how nice everything looked with the linens and floral centerpieces.

Thank you to Kim and everyone at Alexander YMCA!  We enjoyed working with you again.

Ballerina Bat Mitzvah at Brier Creek Country Club

For this bat mitzvah at Brier Creek Country Club, we created 12ft tall toe shoes in Pale Pink with the girl's name between them.  These served as the entrance to the ballroom.  We also recreated her favorite tu-tu costume in Spring Lilac.  Add to that, hanging chandeliers and helium bouquets around the room, and this was one lovely event.  Congrats to Dana on her big day and thank you for letting us be a part of it!

Diamond Patterned Columns for Merz

Here's a quick little job we did yesterday for a company moving to the Triangle soon.  Merz Pharmaceuticals had a recruiting event at the Hamner Conference Center out in RTP.

Balloons add so much to any event and we are so excited and happy to provide decor to make your event special.  These columns greeted the recruits as they entered the conference center and really set a nice tone for the event.

This was the first time we've decorated at the Hamner Conference Center and it was a really nice venue!  They not only do business events, but also weddings and social events.

It was great to welcome Merz to our hometown of Raleigh and we look forward to working with them again soon!

Will's Candy Bar at the Renaissance Hotel

What fun we had creating this bar mitzvah decor for William at the Renaissance Hotel this weekend.  The theme was a take on Dylan's Candy Bar, a candy store in New York.  We were given the bag with the logo and we created a huge photo op area for the entrance using sculptured letters.  We also created 7ft and 12ft columns for the party and whimsical centerpieces that lit up with a variety of colors. We loved working on this colorful and playful theme!

Arch for Walk4Hearing

Here's just a simple arch we did last weekend for a charity event at Wake Med Soccer Park.  I like the Purple and Lime together!

It was quite windy, but our arch stayed up and looking awesome thanks to the arch system we use!  If you have a walk or run and would like an arch, give us a call!

NY Giants Bar Mitzvah at Solas

Congratulations to Adam on becoming a bar mitzvah!  We decorated the downtown nightclub, Solas, for an afternoon celebration in the theme of New York Giants Football.  We used mostly blue with some red and white to compliment.  We created a hanging dance floor (above Solas' glass dance floor!!), several balloon trees, centerpieces for the tables and bar, and letter party poles that spelled out ADAM.

It was a fun venue and we heard back from Adam's mom that they loved the decor!

Bat Mitzvah at the Crabtree Marriott

Here's a cute little bat mitzvah we did this past weekend at the Crabtree Valley Marriott.  The colors were teal, lime, black, and silver.  We created a name arch and helium trio centerpieces for the adult and children's tables.

The Marriott is our favorite venue to decorate due to the wonderful people in charge of events and the lovely ballroom.  Did you know they are currently remodeling to include a new, even larger ballroom and refurbishing the existing one?  It's going to be gorgeous and we can't wait to decorate there again soon!

Two Alignment Healthcare Centers Grand Openings!

This week, we did two grand openings for Alignment Heathcare Center featuring their logo colors of orange, yellow, lime green, and robin's egg blue.  We did an entry arch, 4 party poles, and 6 helium balloon trees at each location.

Balloons make grand openings way more festive and fun!  This event had food and bands playing as well.  What a nice way to celebrate!

Alexander Family YMCA Fundraising Dinner

Flowers and and growth were the theme of this fundraiser held in the gym of the Alexander Family YMCA on Hillsborough Street.  We created a flower arch, flower columns for the stage area, and hanging flowers around the room.  Their color scheme was all different shades of blue and green.

We enjoyed working on this project, as we love the flower designs!  After all... we are Blooming Balloons!
