Bar Mitzvah at the Mill Room

This week, a rare thing happened!  We were called on Wednesday for a Sunday Bar Mitzvah and we actually had the opening.  Normally, we book at least 1 - 2 months in advance, but we just happened to be free Sunday and what better way to spend it than by making some beautiful and fun decor! 

I think what we came up with was lovely!  Our Mitzvah Mom made some fun choices with all the curls and double bubbles and we were able to match her color scheme well.

Topiaries With A Twist

We have been doing SO MANY topiaries lately!  Of course, they are great for occasions elegant to whimsical, and this time, we added a bit of a twist for a bat mitzvah this morning.  We had matching long balloons connecting the top to the bottom.

Today's centerpieces had a fun and fresh feel and matched the bat mitzvah girl's invitations to a tee.  This event was held at MacGregor Downs in their clubhouse.

I think I will do a post on our most popular centerpiece ideas soon - and topiaries will be just one of them!

Carolina Hurricanes Bar Mitzvah

After a very busy week of corporate decor (no pics because the company we did two events for does not allow photos on premises due to the research done there), we got to do a very fun Carolina Hurricanes themed bar mitzvah this morning.  We built a 15ft x 8ft balloon wall with the Hurricanes logo, dance floor topiaries, along with topiary centerpieces and some topiary party poles.  It was a fun job!  We love creating logo balloon walls!  Congratulations to Jeremy as he becomes a bar mitzvah and thank you for letting Blooming Balloons be a part of this special day!

Topiaries For An Annual Meeting

Floor Topiary

Topiaries are a popular choice for any type of event!  We can create them in helium or in air-filled alternatives for centerpieces, columns, or even hanging from the ceiling.  Yesterday, we had the opportunity to provide topiary decor for Families In Action, a great community organization that works to prevent addiction by working with parents to educate and support families.  Their annual meeting was at the Doubletree Brownstone and while we were there setting up, the crew from Lizard Lick Towing, a reality TV show, was there filming a wedding scene!  I wonder if our balloons will show up on TV?
